The Aladdin Pantomime was on the other day, i was so offended by it i decided to do my own interpretation of Agrabah, was just a mood speed paint sketch, took nigh on 2 hours i think it was.
"Captain D.G.M Reynolds Esquire", asked me if i wouldn't mind creating a piece of concept for him, i didn't, so i did. It portrays a knight who was rewarded with an eternal rest in a tranquil forest;overtime he, his shield and spear become enveloped by the surrounding elements, but eventually he's awoken by something and is a bit on the stiff side...
Hmmm...ok i reckon i've messed up the forground a bit,but i'll put that down to being out of practise with figure renders, so need to get back on that, think i've overworked it some what.Anyway, pleased with the landscape. Its influenced by the book "Brisngr"-tiz aboot Dragonzzzzzz.
Thought I'd have a go at a deserted/desert-scape warzone kinda place-just wanted to play with bounced light to be honest.Could be a lot better but it only took 2 and abit hours so I'm not going to lose sleep over it, and I'm just trying to get back into painting really.
